Freeman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Freeman throws a right and a left that Cane avoids nicely. Cane scores with a jab to the head.

#R1# Teller throws the kick towards the body but Freeman avoids it. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Teller is defended easily by Freeman. Freeman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Teller doesn't seem bothered though. Freeman lands a slapping body shot.
Teller with a poor takedown and Teller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Teller rushes Freeman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC# Freeman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Teller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Freeman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#T1# Teller throws a nice looking combination but Freeman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A nice combination there by Freeman.
Freeman scores with a one two! Teller had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Teller drops his hands for a split second and Freeman immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Teller face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Freeman follows up with a right hand that knocks Teller into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Filip Hansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hansson tries to clinch but Freeman moves away letting Freeman counter with a right hand. Hansson tries for a takedown but Freeman circles away easily and Freeman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hansson tries to clinch #KD2# and Freeman counters with a beautiful punch that sends Hansson to the canvas! #ROC2# Hansson is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action!#SU2# Freeman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Oh Hansson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hansson closes the distance but Freeman moves to the side and Freeman counters with a left to the body. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Hansson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

A left hand lands to the body for Vance.
A nice right hand lands inside from Vance. Vance working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Vance creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Freeman with a big uppercut! Freeman tries to clinch up but Vance pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Freeman to the mat! Freeman throws a right and a left that both miss. Tism connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Freeman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Freeman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tism walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Freeman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lak misses with a takedown and Lak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Freeman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lak takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lak is aggressively charging in as Freeman backs up avoiding any damage. Freeman tosses out a jab and Lak runs right into it face first! Lak is out cold! Freeman dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lak's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Freeman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Good standup being displayed there by Freeman as he connects with a hook. Lak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Freeman to counter with a crisp jab. Freeman is pawing at Lak, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lak's nose. Lak is badly hurt! Freeman pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lak tries desperately to hold on but Freeman is relentless in his assault! As Lak receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Freeman away and this one is in the books!

That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Bogart. Nice uppercut there from Freeman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bogart takes a step back to recover. Freeman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

I was talking to Benton's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Freeman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nurkkanen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Freeman as he jumps to the side. Nate Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miilo Nurkkanen. Nurkkanen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freeman tries to avoid it but Nurkkanen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freeman to the ground. Freeman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Freeman throws a hook but Nurkkanen avoids it easily. Freeman switches off momentarily and Nilsen cracks him with a monster right hand! Freeman topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Nilsen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Nilsen!
