Strazas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Strazas tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Strazas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Strazas tries to move into range but Ballesteros moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Strazas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Seve Ballesteros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strazas blocks a head kick by Ballesteros.
Strazas tries to counter with a clinch but Ballesteros shakes him off and moves away. A nice leg kick lands there from Ballesteros. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strazas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Strazas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Ballesteros throws out a loose jab but Strazas uses good head movement to avoid it. Strazas's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A big right from Ballesteros misses. Strazas wants to counter with a clinch but Ballesteros pushes him away. Ballesteros swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Strazas unleashes a big counter combination but Ballesteros bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Ballesteros jabbing away but nothing is landing. Strazas drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ballesteros defends it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ballesteros throws the kick towards the body but Strazas avoids it. Strazas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ballesteros swats him away and circles back towards the center. Strazas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I was talking to Ballesteros's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short right from Ballesteros. #ROC# Strazas is rocked! Ballesteros effectively controlling the action here. Strazas is still on wobbly legs! Can Ballesteros finish him? Ballesteros lands with a short shot to the head. Ballesteros works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Strazas takes an elbow to the temple. A left hand lands to the body for Ballesteros.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ballesteros creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Strazas with a big uppercut! Strazas tries to clinch up but Ballesteros pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Strazas to the mat! Strazas covers up and Ballesteros unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Nice body kick there by Berzevaco. Strazas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It looked like Berzevaco wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Marcelo Strazas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berzevaco lands a body shot.

Strazas moves to clinch but Berzevaco breaks away and Berzevaco counters with a stiff right hand. Strazas is looking to clinch. Strazas tries to close the distance and clinch but Berzevaco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strazas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Strazas fails in his attempt to clinch. Berzevaco scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Strazas doesn't seem bothered though. Berzevaco buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Strazas darts in trying to clinch and Strazas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A solid leg kick lands there for Berzevaco.
Berzevaco throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#TD# Berzevaco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Berzevaco looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Strazas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T1# Strazas throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Berzevaco works his way into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Berzevaco scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Strazas?
#ROC# Strazas is rocked! Strazas is trying desperately to improve position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strazas can do anything to dispel that myth. Berzevaco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Strazas is squirming around, avoiding Berzevaco's attempts to control the action. #SUB# Berzevaco looking to secure an arm triangle but Strazas defends it well. Strazas is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Berzevaco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Strazas is still in real trouble! Can Berzevaco finish him? Berzevaco takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Strazas seems to have recovered his senses. A big strike lands for Berzevaco! That's really hurt Strazas and he's turned his back - Berzevaco keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Berzevaco jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Slyker working the body and head with strikes. The crowd goes nuts as Slyker knocks Strazas out cold with a massive hammerfist! Slyker Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Strazas tries to close the distance and clinch but Vini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strazas throws out a counter right but Vini avoids it with no problem. Vini looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. An inside leg kick lands from Vini. The fight stays on the outside here - Strazas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Strazas tries to close the distance and clinch but Vini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strazas tries to clinch up but Vini circles away and keeps his distance. Vini swats away the attempt to clinch by Strazas. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Vini has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #SUB# Vini is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Strazas is surviving well by controlling Vini's body position as best he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Strazas tries to reverse the position but Vini maintains control. Vini lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#SUB# Vini wants to finish this one by submission but Strazas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Vini. Vini trying to control but he's not successful this time. #SUB# Vini is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Strazas has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Vini cracks Strazas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#ROC# Strazas is rocked! Vini softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Strazas is out cold! Vini jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

#R1# Strazas tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Diesel counter with a right hand. Strazas fails with an attempt to clinch.
#TD2# Diesel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Strazas is trying to defend but Diesel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Strazas is breathing heavily. Strazas is staying active underneath Diesel, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Strazas flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Diesel lands strikes from half guard. Diesel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Diesel wants to control but Strazas is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Strazas is defending against the submission attempts here by Diesel.
Strazas throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Diesel manages to pass to side control. #T1# Diesel looks up at the clock and then as Strazas takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Diesel smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Diesel works to advance to full mount. Strazas defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Strazas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diesel on the ground. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diesel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
#SUB2# Diesel looking to isolate an arm here. Strazas doesn't see it coming and as Diesel extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Diesel!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hunt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunt lands a body punch. Hunt just leaning against Strazas, taking a breather. Hunt lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Strazas backwards.
