Banner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Silva on the side of the head. #CUT# It looks like Rodrigo Silva has been cut.#TD2# Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Banner napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SUB2# Silva is working to tighten his grip on Banner's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Banner has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silva is really squeezing tight and eventually Banner passes out! Silva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Banner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Aureus counters with a nice uppercut. Banner plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Aureus swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Aureus face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tony Banner! An out of breath and clearly excited Tony Banner thanked Spartan Nutrition for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him). #R1##KD2# Oooooh!!! Gagnon has knocked Banner down with a huge combo! Gagnon steps away and waves a wobbly Banner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2# It looks like Tony Banner has been cut. Banner misses with a shot to the body #KD2# and Gagnon counters with a nice right hand that sends Banner toppling to the canvas! Banner scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gagnon finish him?!#ROC2# Banner is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Banner jabbing away but nothing is landing. Gagnon doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Oh Banner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Banner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Banner seems to have got his legs back now.#CUT# It looks like Jean Gagnon has been cut. Banner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gagnon circles away quickly and effectively. Gagnon connects with a leg kick. Banner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Tony Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Banner throws a right hand that misses

#R1# Banner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson. Anderson jabs Banner right on the nose. Banner blinks but takes it well. Danga de danga de dang - Anderson scores with a four punch combination! Anderson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Banner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Anderson looks to score with a jab to the body but Banner is just out of range. Anderson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Banner punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch. Banner goes for a small jab and connects. Now Banner goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Anderson stumbles back but Banner runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Anderson to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Anderson will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tony Banner! Tony Banner very nearly forgot to thank Spartan Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Banner tries to counter with a clinch but Gonzalez shakes him off and moves away.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzalez enables Banner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzalez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Gonzalez pushes Banner off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Some wild striking there from Banner.
Gonzalez thows a left - swing and a miss! Banner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzalez as he avoids it easily. Good leg kick by Gonzalez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Gonzalez. Gonzalez misses with a short punch on the inside. #BC2# Banner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Banner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gonzalez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gonzalez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gonzalez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banner defends it nicely. Gonzalez misses with a straight right. Gonzalez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Banner was well out of range. Poor timing from Gonzalez. Banner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gonzalez throws a big shot that misses. Banner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Gonzalez swinging wildly here.

Banner tries to bum rush Laraque with a series of wild strikes but Laraque uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Laraque misses. Tony Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laraque throws a left and a right that both miss

Laraque thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Banner to his feet! Banner is in big trouble! Banner looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Banner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laraque. Laraque looks to land a combination but Banner avoids it well. #T1# Laraque swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Banner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laraque tries to avoid it but Banner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laraque to the ground. Laraque escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Laraque has cracked Banner with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Laraque lands another huge swinging hook and Banner tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Banner, before Laraque can land any more shots!

We've been told by Ganador's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Some wild striking there from Banner.

Kahva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kahva trying to control the position from guard on top but Banner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Banner controls Kahva momentarily but Kahva frees himself. #SU2# Kahva gets to his feet. Banner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The crowd are loving this.
