Jackson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Panos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jackson tries to clinch there but Panos circles away.
Jackson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Panos. Panos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though. Jackson looks winded! Jab from Panos. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Panos lands a front kick. Jackson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Panos lands with a good body shot. Panos scores with a big left there. It looked like Loosa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Loosa is landing a low percentage of strikes. Loosa scores with a nice strike.#CUT# It looks like Smoosh Jackson has been cut.#CL# Loosa rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage. Jackson misses with a body punch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loosa lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jackson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Loosa's brow. Jackson misses with a hook to the ribs.

Salazar keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Salazar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jackson won't allow Salazar to sweep him here. Salazar keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jackson wants to clinch. Jackson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Schmidt cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs. Schmidt stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Schmidt lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jackson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schmidt as he jumps to the side. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schmidt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Schmidt has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jackson is landing a low percentage of strikes. Schmidt digs a good body shot into Jackson's ribs. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Marcus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Marcus. Marcus throwing strikes but missing. Marcus postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it. Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Marcus controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB##T1# Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Marcus is retaining full guard. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Marcus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. Jackson misses with a wild combination.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Pavelic can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
