The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Timmermans closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Timmermans has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We've been hearing good reports from Hadry's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. As Hadry backs off Jones throws a huge counter combo but Hadry manages to avoid it all. Jones throws the left hand but Hadry avoids the punch easily. Hadry has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tycoon Gym in the buildup to the fight. Hadry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hadry fails in his attempt to clinch. Jones drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hadry defends it well. Borg is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Borg down to the mat. Borg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jones shoots and misses and Borg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Borg throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
#CUT# It looks like Jamahl Jones has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Borg, which made it look bad. Junior Borg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamahl Jones. Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.

It looked like Jones was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Loko lands a body shot.
Four Loko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A chopping leg kick lands by Loko.
