Al Khan throws a shot from downtown. Ferrall moves away and avoids it. And Ferrall tries to counter it with a takedown but Al Khan pushes his down on his head and steps out. Al Khan connects with a leg kick. Ferrall looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. #CL2# Ferrall clinches up with Al Khan and pushes him back against the cage. Ferrall is looking for a takedown. Al Khan gets underhooks to prevent Ferrall's takedown attempt.

Al Khan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Al Khan leaves Ferrall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ferrall shoots for a double leg takedown but Al Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Ferrall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Al Khan. Al Khan lands a leg kick. He has the arm isolated but Ferrall is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ferrall is looking to reverse the position.
