and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A big left from Dekker misses. Decent striking displayed by Lifter there. Dekker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. And Lifter counters with a quick kick to the body but Dekker blocks it. Lifter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lifter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lifter scores with a push kick. Dekker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #CL# Lifter clinches up with Dekker and pushes him back against the cage. Lifter works on Dekker's body with a couple of short punches. Dekker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A hook to the body from Lifter.

#R1# Lifter takes one to the chin there. Williams thuds his right hand into Lifter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lifter swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Williams cracks Lifter with an open hand slap. Lifter blocks a head kick by Williams.
Lifter avoids a kick to the body.

Lifter is looking to counter with a body kick. Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lifter manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Williams scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Williams feints and then cracks Lifter's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lifter down. Williams lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.#ROC2# Lifter is rocked! We've been told by Lifter's head coaches at GTi 888 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#T1# Williams lands with a massive overhand right! Now, who's gonna be next? You hearin me? You feelin me? I'm the beatdown boss, the KO Cupid, and I'll hook you up.'. Power Lifter was interviewed post fight and said 'Bollocks'.

#R1# Zivkovic takes a body punch but keeps moving. #TD# Lifter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zivkovic to the ground. Lifter is now in Zivkovic's guard. Zivkovic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lifter prevents Zivkovic from getting back to his feet. Zivkovic controls Lifter momentarily but Lifter frees himself. Lifter throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lifter is looking to work some ground and pound but Zivkovic has wrist control. Lifter scoring with punches to the head and body. Lifter is working Zivkovic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lifter stands up over Zivkovic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lifter throws a big elbow that misses. Lifter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lifter is in close to Zivkovic's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lifter throws a strike but Zivkovic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zivkovic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Zivkovic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#T1# Lifter has his hands on Zivkovic's head, controlling the position. Lifter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zivkovic trying to control but Lifter is working from the bottom. Lifter seems keen to control Zivkovic's posture.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zivkovic content to stall in guard here. Lifter keeping moving, preventing Zivkovic from controlling successfully. Zivkovic is looking to stand up but Lifter won't let him. #T3# Zivkovic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Zivkovic wants to stand but Lifter is controlling his posture from full guard. Lifter managing to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Zivkovic wants to control from the top but Lifter keeps moving. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice body kick there by Lifter.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.#KD# Lifter sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Zivkovic to the ground! Lifter dives into full mount looking to finish!#CUT# It looks like Kresimir Zivkovic has been cut. Lifter throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zivkovic because Lifter loaded up on that one. Lifter throws some wild stikes that Zivkovic manages to avoid easily.
Lifter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zivkovic's face.
#ROC# Zivkovic is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Lifter! Zivkovic is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Power Lifter! After the big win, Power Lifter made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Arcticus University: London and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.

#SUB2# Theyer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
#SUB2# Theyer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Lifter is defending against the submission attempts here by Theyer.

#R1# Lifter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Van Der Sar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lifter throws a lazy head kick and Van Der Sar counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lifter is looking to land body kicks. Van Der Sar shapes to counter with a head kick. Lifter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lifter with a poor takedown and Van Der Sar counters with a flying knee. Nice. Lifter misses with a kick to the body and Van Der Sar counters with a solid body kick. Lifter throws a head kick but Van Der Sar moves out of range.
Van Der Sar is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. A head kick by Lifter misses and Van Der Sar makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lifter really felt that one! Lifter is breathing heavily. Lifter throws a body kick despite being completely out of range#KD2# and Van Der Sar counters with a nice right hand that sends Lifter toppling to the canvas! Lifter scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Van Der Sar finish him?!#CUT2# It looks like Power Lifter has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
