Dogwood closes the distance and pushes Erwin back into the cage.
Dogwood keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Erwin's efforts to push away.
Erwin misses with some punches.
Erwin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dogwood backwards.
Erwin avoiding damage.
Erwin told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Erwin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Dogwood goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A looping hook to the body misses from Dogwood. Erwin does a little dance to reset his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looked like Dogwood wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dogwood works the jab nicely.

and Erwin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Erwin moves out of range as Dogwood strikes.
Erwin feints a jab promting Dogwood to slip. Erwin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dogwood slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dogwood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big right from Dogwood misses.
Erwin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

It looks like Higgs Boson has been cut.
Lowkie Erwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Erwin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boson.
Boson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boson throws a head kick that misses.
Boson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Erwin throws a body shot but no joy.
Erwin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boson throws a leg kick but Erwin moved away.
Erwin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Boson misses.
Erwin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#CL#

Erwin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Erwin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Boson.

and Erwin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Boson.
Erwin throws an overhand right that drops Boson like a sack of potatoes! Erwin dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Erwin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Erwin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beaumont moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Erwin defending well as Beaumont loads up on a big left hand.
Beaumont slips a jab and a cross from Erwin.
Beaumont misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Erwin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beaumont to score with a decent uppercut.
Erwin misses with a straight right.
A counter left hand to the body from Beaumont misses its target.
Beaumont scores with a sloppy right hand. Erwin should have avoided that one.
Erwin looks to land a combination but Beaumont avoids it well.
Beaumont throws a jab but it's blocked by Erwin.
Beaumont goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Erwin throws a nice looking combination but Beaumont bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Beaumont and Erwin are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Beaumont throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Erwin into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Beaumont knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Boson moves out of range as Erwin strikes.

Boson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Erwin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Erwin throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Boson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Erwin dives in looking to finish as Boson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Erwin's strikes! Erwin is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Boson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Boson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Myers drops down looking for a counter takedown but Erwin sprawls and moves away.

Nice defenses there by Myers.
Myers tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Erwin manages to circle out of the way.
