The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patterson throwing strikes from guard but Bean blocks nicely. Bean keeping full guard, as Patterson tries to pass. Patterson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Patterson wants to control from the top but Bean keeps moving. #T1# Bean is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Patterson is controlling him. Patterson throwing strikes but missing. Patterson throws a big elbow that misses. Bean working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Patterson. Patterson with a flurry of punches that miss. Patterson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bean after a bit of a struggle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Patterson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bean has him pressed against the cage. Patterson is looking to break free of the clinch but Bean has double underhooks. Patterson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bean pulls his leg out and moves away.

And that's the end of the fight! James Bean comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bean has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Sato darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sato is looking to slow Patterson down with leg kicks. Patterson shoots and misses and Sato connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Patterson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sato circles away quickly and effectively. Sato lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Patterson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Patterson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
