Hanes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD# Hanes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Silva's guard now, I'm sure. Hanes lands a couple of elbows. Hanes slips nicely into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth. Hanes missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Silva is looking to escape. Hanes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva has hold of Hanes's hands but Hanes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hanes lands a big shot. Hanes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hanes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. We've been told by Rection's head coaches at He Man Women Haters Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Rection swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hanes. Hanes fails to land with a series of punches.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES# Rection pushes Hanes off and gets back to his feet. Rection lands with a straight right. Hanes didn't see that one coming. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rection connects with a crisp jab. Rection stuffs the takedown. Hugh Rection has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Hanes. Hanes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rection pinned against the cage. Rection gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rection, as that shot connected.

He thinks about going to the ground but Hanes looks back up at him and smiles so Rection waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

#R1# Hanes wants to clinch up but Stanislav keeps it at a distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stanislav works over Hanes's head and body with a nice combination. Left hook, right uppercut from Hanes. #CUT# It looks like Adam Stanislav has been cut. Hanes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stanislav manages to avoid it. Hanes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hanes tries to bum rush Stanislav with a series of wild strikes but Stanislav uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hanes tries for a takedown but Stanislav sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stanislav keeps the fight on the outside. Hanes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hanes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stanislav pinned against the cage. Stanislav gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight stays on the outside here - Hanes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hanes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hanes with a lazy takedown attempt and Klewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hanes fails with a takedown attempt. As Hanes looks to move away, Klewis throws a big counter combo but Hanes just gets out of the way. Myron Klewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Hanes. Hanes misses with a takedown attempt - Klewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hanes shoots and misses letting Klewis counter with a right hand. Hanes goes for a double leg but Klewis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Klewis continues to drive forward. Hanes has a takedown stuffed. Klewis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Klewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Klewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hanes.

Klewis cracks Hanes with a big elbow. A bit of a lull in the action. We've been told by Junior's head coaches at Mega Gym - Capacity 35 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Junior changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Junior lands a right hook to the body.

#R1# Hanes dives in for a single leg takedown but Belto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Belto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Belto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hanes manages to avoid it. Belto lands with a nice combination. Hanes backs away looking to recover. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hanes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Belto throws a series of punches but Hanes avoids them all with ease. Belto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Belto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Belto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Horrible takedown attempt by Hanes or perhaps it was just good defense by Belto, which made it look bad. Hanes takes one on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No luck with that takedown attempt from Hanes. Vito Belto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Hanes. Hanes catches Belto with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#CUT2# It looks like Vito Belto has been cut. Belto connects with a body shot that sends Hanes's belly button to the back. Belto cracks Hanes's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Hanes slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Belto can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Bad move! Brown lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hanes. Brown pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Joe Brown decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world.
