#R1# Machado shoots in looking for a takedown but Leopoldo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Machado's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Machado with a lazy takedown attempt and Leopoldo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Machado misses with a takedown and Leopoldo counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rigan Machado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Machado is breathing heavily. Machado on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Bravie digs a good body shot into Machado's ribs. Machado tries for a takedown but Bravie circles away easily and Bravie counters with a lovely shot to the body. Machado looks winded! Bravie scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bravie connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Machado shoots in for a takedown but Bravie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A solid body kick from Bravie. Machado's coach down at RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Machado's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bravie connects with the punch.#CUT# It looks like Rigan Machado has been cut. Bravie lands with a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bravie moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Kaleva lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR##SUB2# Kaleva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Machado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaleva has managed to get both his arms back between Machado's legs - danger averted. Kaleva won't allow Machado to sweep him here. Machado keeps trying to improve his position. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Machado wants to control but Kahva is keeping busy.
