and Donats counters with a good low kick that Rad was not able to check. #CL2# Rad closes the distance and pushes Donats back into the cage. Rad lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Rad fails to land. #TD2# Rad gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Rad throwing strikes from guard but Donats blocks nicely. Rad throws a strike but Donats rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Rad is trying to control the position but Donats postures up. Rad striking off his back. Donats keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rad's head. Rad is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Donats is in close to Rad's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Donats in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. Rad is looking to take a break and control but Donats is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Donats has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. And that's the end of the fight! Con Rad comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1##TD2# Donats gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Michaels to score an easy takedown into full guard. Michaels distracts Donats with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Michaels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Donats swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Michaels thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Michaels stays in close to Donats's body and controls the position. Michaels throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Donats works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donats trying to strike off his back.
#SUB2# Michaels drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Donats dives on top into guard.#REVR# Donats works over Michaels with some ground and pound from guard.#T1##SUB2# Michaels is looking for a guillotine. Donats doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Donats manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Donats knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Michaels on the ground. Martin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Donats fails with an attempt to clinch.

Martin takes a step backwards and waves Donats back to his feet - he wants the finish! Donats is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him? It looks like Martin has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Donats tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A head kick by Martin - that's a beauty! Donats is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Martin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

A very excited looking Frank Martin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. Bacca prevents Donats from breaking the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A short right from Bacca. Donats is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bacca is keeping busy. Donats tries a knee to the head but Bacca blocks it.

Bacca dips a shoulder and cracks Donats with a mighty uppercut! Donats falls back against the cage and Bacca unloads with a barrage of strikes! Donats is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Bacca screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chew Bacca! After the fight, Chew Bacca was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. The defeated Dunkin Donats had this to say: 'I will be stronger'.
