Raul Lorenzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lorenzo darts in looking for a takedown but Silva gets double underhooks and turns Lorenzo into the cage. Lorenzo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #KD2# and Silva counters with a nice right hand that sends Lorenzo toppling to the canvas! Lorenzo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Silva finish him?!#CUT2# It looks like Raul Lorenzo has been cut. We've been told by Dagher's head coaches at The Pure Warrior that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lorenzo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dagher tries to avoid it but Lorenzo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dagher to the ground. Dagher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Asmar Dagher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Lorenzo. Nice sprawl there from Dagher as Lorenzo shoots in.#TD2# Dagher tries to sprawl but Lorenzo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Dagher wants to get back to his feet.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Lorenzo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SU# Lorenzo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #TD# Lorenzo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB# Lorenzo drops back for a leg!
