#R1# Day throws a body shot but no joy. McKane throws a body kick that misses. McKane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McKane only half commits to the counter leg kick. McKane on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Day dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McKane. That did some damage! McKane slips a jab and a cross from Day.
Day definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. McKane feints and then cracks Day's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Day down. Day throws a head kick but McKane moves out of range.
Day throws a quick inside leg kick. McKane on the wrong end of a nice hook. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McKane has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Day looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Day scores with a nice head shot. Day swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Day takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McKane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oberion McKane seems to be getting the better of the standup. Day throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McKane. McKane appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.#KD2# McKane cracks Day with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Day is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Day is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine! Oh Day is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McKane attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. McKane and Day are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. McKane throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Day into next week! Ooooh that was huge! McKane knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

A very excited looking Oberion McKane made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Ki Duk doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ki Duk tries to clinch up and McKane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ki Duk falls off balance throwing a combination
and McKane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ki Duk!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Oberion McKane! A relieved looking Oberion McKane thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
