We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fairweather is looking to stand up but Rivera isn't so interested in that idea. #T1#

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rivera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rivera gets a takedown into half guard.
Fairweather is trying to escape back to his feet but Rivera uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Rivera lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Rivera working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Rivera looks up at the clock and then as Fairweather takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rivera smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fairweather is letting Rivera control him for a moment.

Rivera has hold of Fairweather's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fairweather tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rivera cranks the arm and Fairweather screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fairweather, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mountain Rivera!

Saric looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fairweather has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Saric listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Saric takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Saric lands with a right hand. #CUT#
It looks like Bruce Fairweather has been cut.
Fairweather tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saric swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saric's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fairweather under the eye.
A chopping leg kick lands by Saric.
Fairweather takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Saric scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Saric drops Fairweather with a huge uppercut! Fairweather drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Saric is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

It looks like Bruce Fairweather has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fairweather or perhaps it was just good defense by Collins, which made it look bad.
Fairweather has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Collins swats away the attempt to clinch by Fairweather.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Collins! Fairweather is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Collins!
A very excited looking Fred Collins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Breneman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fairweather is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB#
Breneman maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fairweather could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Breneman has cracked it and Fairweather is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Breneman!

During a confident post fight interview, Adam Breneman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Bombs circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fairweather shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bombs counters with a straight right hand.#CUT#
It looks like Bruce Fairweather has been cut.
Fairweather takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bombs thuds a left hand into Fairweather's body.
Bombs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bombs lands an overhand right.
Bombs moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bombs lands a head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fairweather tries to close the distance and clinch but Bombs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fairweather doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bombs counters with a huge left! Fairweather is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bombs isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fairweather from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bombs!
