We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Murphy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Murphy controls Abai momentarily but Abai frees himself. Abai stands up over Murphy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Abai working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Murphy looking to control.

Murphy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Murphy pulls Abai in close to prevent any damage. Murphy looking to control.

Frazier is trying to drag Murphy to the mat but Murphy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Murphy is defending well against a takedown attempt. Murphy wants to break the clinch but can't.

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Shevchenko with a lazy takedown attempt and Murphy counters with a lovely shot to the body. Murphy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Murphy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shevchenko. Shevchenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Shevchenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Murphy now looks to counter with a shot at the body. The fighters circling - Murphy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Shevchenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shevchenko misses with a looping right. We've been hearing reports that Shevchenko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cosby tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Cosby looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cosby is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Murphy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Murphy is looking to reverse the position. Murphy wants to control but Cosby postures up. Murphy tries to bench press Cosby off him but Cosby keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Murphy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Murphy looking for a sweep but Cosby has passed into full mount! Oh no! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murphy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Murphy is bucking up trying to escape but Cosby cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Murphy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
