#R1##TD# Shevchenko gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Angelo wants to control but Shevchenko is keeping busy and won't allow it. Shevchenko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Angelo! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shevchenko punishing his opponent with strikes. #CUT# It looks like Luiz Angelo has been cut. A nice elbow there by Shevchenko. Shevchenko raining down shots from the mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shevchenko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shevchenko looking to finish with strikes here!
Shevchenko looking to ground and pound but Angelo is blocking nicely. Shevchenko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Angelo hang on?#CUT# That has opened up Luiz Angelo's cut even more. Shevchenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Angelo wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Shevchenko.
Shevchenko loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Angelo scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Shevchenko land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Shevchenko stands and salutes the crowd.

#R1##KD2# Oooooh!!! Angelo has knocked Beefrock down with a huge combo! Angelo steps away and waves a wobbly Beefrock back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2# It looks like Lump Beefrock has been cut. Beefrock ducks under a wild hook from Angelo. Good exchange - Beefrock coming out on top. Angelo dances in with a quick combination. Beefrock is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Angelo snaps Beefrock's head back. Beefrock stumbles backwards against the cage. Angelo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Beefrock's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Beefrock just didn't come prepared.

#R1# Angelo throws a hook but Shevchenko avoids it easily. Shevchenko appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Shevchenko defending well as Angelo loads up on a big left hand. The fighters circling - Angelo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Shevchenko walks into a stiff left hand from Angelo.#CUT2# It looks like Taras Shevchenko has been cut. Donk. Angelo catches Shevchenko right on the button with a cross. Shevchenko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Angelo's waist but Angelo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shevchenko off to one side. Angelo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Shevchenko with a body shot. Angelo lands with a shot to the body. Angelo loads up on a big right hand but Shevchenko slips the punch. Shevchenko seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Angelo tests Shevchenko's chin there with a solid looking shot. Angelo looks to throw the jab but Shevchenko is out of range. Shevchenko attempts a counter takedown but Angelo avoids it well and moves away. Angelo thuds a left hand into Shevchenko's body. Angelo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shevchenko sees it coming and avoids it easily. Shevchenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#T1# Nice sprawl there from Angelo as Shevchenko shoots in. Shevchenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Angelo. Shevchenko half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Donk. Angelo catches Shevchenko right on the button with a cross.#CUT2# Taras Shevchenko's cut is getting worse. Angelo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shevchenko dives in and grabs Angelo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Angelo pushes down on Shevchenko's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taras Shevchenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shevchenko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Angelo. Luiz Angelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shevchenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Angelo as he avoids it easily. Angelo throws a shot from downtown. Shevchenko moves away and avoids it. Shevchenko fails with the takedown. Shevchenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Angelo sprawls well. He's pushed Shevchenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #TD# Shevchenko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #T2##SUB# Shevchenko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Angelo can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shevchenko is looking to take a break and control but Angelo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T3# Shevchenko tries to score with some ground and pound. Angelo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Angelo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Shevchenko.

Shevchenko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Angelo to see if he's OK. Shevchenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Angelo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Shevchenko. Shevchenko looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Shevchenko there. #ROC# Angelo is rocked! Shevchenko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Angelo is still in real trouble! Can Shevchenko finish him? Shevchenko lands a big elbow - Angelo is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Shevchenko!

#R1# Angelo wants to clinch but Poole slips to the side and Poole counters with an inside leg kick. Angelo closes the distance looking to clinch and Poole counters with a thumping low kick. #CL# Poole closes the distance and clinches. Poole lands a good knee to the midsection. Angelo won't want to take too many of those. Poole lands a nice shot to the body. Angelo looks winded! Poole connects with a nasty looking knee right to Angelo's face.
#CUT# It looks like Luiz Angelo has been cut. Poole lands on the inside with an uppercut. #KD# Poole drops Angelo with a big knee straight up the middle! Angelo is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Poole misses with a knee to the head. Poole lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Angelo to his knees! Poole keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Barnes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Angelo is landing a low percentage of strikes. Angelo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Barnes fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes throws a shot from downtown. Angelo moves away and avoids it. Barnes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Angelo swivels and escapes. Angelo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Angelo scores with the left hand. Barnes knows he should have avoided that one. Barnes misses with a looping right.#T1# Barnes slips a jab from Angelo.#CL2# Barnes drives through and clinches with Angelo against the cage.

Barnes tries to clinch up but Angelo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Barnes to the mat! Barnes covers up and Angelo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Angelo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Angelo lands a shoulder strike. Angelo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Angelo lands a right hand. Brickstock looking to slow down the pace here. Brickstock takes a shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brickstock blocks a body shot from Angelo. Angelo lands a body shot. Brickstock looks winded! Still in the clinch, Angelo scores with a nice short uppercut.#T1# Angelo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. #CUT# It looks like Broderick Brickstock has been cut. Left hook, right uppercut from Lyles. #CUT2# It looks like Luiz Angelo has been cut. Lyles closes the distance and clinches up with Angelo, looking for a takedown. Lyles pushes Angelo against the cage but Angelo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lyles looks to land a right hand but Angelo moved out of range. Lyles shoots in but Angelo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Angelo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Angelo throws a solid leg kick but Lyles takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Angelo. Angelo chopping away at his opponent's legs.

As Lyles tries to get set, Angelo tries to push him back and clinch up but Lyles manages to avoid the attempt. Lyles misses the shot to the body. Angelo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lyles manages to circle out of the way. Lyles uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Angelo.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joshua. Angelo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Joshua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Angelo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Project Joshua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joshua misses the body punch and Angelo counters with a right hand to the body. Joshua lands a head shot. Joshua throws a body punch but Angelo moves out of range. Joshua ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Joshua misses with a body shot.

Angelo sees it coming and avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Angelo misses the target. Joshua avoids the body shot from Angelo.
