Starrk throws a body punch but Nakamura moves out of range. Nakamura tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nakamura jabbing away but nothing is landing. Starrk has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Outer Heaven Dojo in the buildup to the fight.#CL# Starrk gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Starrk lands a body punch. Nakamura on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

#R1# Nakamura takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nilsen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Nilsen throws a head kick but Nakamura moves out of range.
Nakamura appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nilsen misses the shot to the body. Nakamura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nilsen throws a jab when Nakamura was well out of range. Nilsen misses with a two punch combination.

Nilsen scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nilsen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Nakamura cracks Nilsen with a hook to the jaw. Nakamura is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

#R1# Nakamura throws a body punch but Galvao moves out of range. Galvao checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Nakamura has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Galvao is landing a low percentage of strikes. Galvao closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakamura circles away. Galvao walks into a stiff left hand from Nakamura.#TD# Galvao dives in and scores a takedown into Nakamura's guard. Galvao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakamura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nakamura trying to control the position here. Let's hope that Nakamura has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nakamura is trying to keep his angry face on. Nakamura looks to land a left hand but Meridius moved out of range nicely. Meridius feinted there with a counter leg kick. Meridius ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nakamura throws out a loose jab but Meridius uses good head movement to avoid it. Meridius seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Meridius ducks under a wild hook from Nakamura. Meridius seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
