#R1# Bates misses with a takedown attempt - Wallace sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bates really is a fat lump. Bates dives in for a single leg takedown but Wallace sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.#CL2# Bates gets tackled into the cage by Wallace. Wallace maintains the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Wallace.
Wallace looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bates is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wallace lands an elbow that stopped Bates in his tracks for a moment. #CUT2# It looks like Allan Bates has been cut.#BC# Bates escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#CL2# Wallace clinches up with Bates and pushes him back against the cage. Bates is trying to push Wallace away but Wallace has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
#CUT2# Allan Bates's cut is getting worse. Wallace jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bates walks away with a smile on his face. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD# Bates throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Bates finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES2# Wallace pushes Bates off and gets back to his feet.
Bates is breathing heavily.#T1# Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for Bates on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allan Bates. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace misses with the combination.
#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Wallace trying to stall but Bates improves his position.

#R1# Bates throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kulik's waist but Kulik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bates off to one side. #TD2# Kulik throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bates was covering up waiting for the punch and Kulik finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bates working a defensive guard here.
Kulik's corner is telling him to maintain position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kulik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bates looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kulik prevents Bates from getting back to his feet. #T1# Kulik sitting in guard here, content to control. Kulik wants to pass the guard but Bates is keeping the position.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bates could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kulik is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bates trying to control the position but Kulik is working away. Kulik tries to buck Bates off but Bates is having none of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kulik gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. #T3# Bates sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kulik defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kulik avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bates. Kulik wants to control but Bates is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bates with the ground and pound but Kulik uses the opportunity to regain guard. Kulik wants to get back to his feet but Bates is in a dominant position and won't allow it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kulik holds on and takes a little breather. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bates. Kulik tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bates tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kulik tries to pass to full mount but Bates defends it. Kulik content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dmitry Kulik has got the better of the ground game so far. Kulik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bates keeps working. Kulik controlling the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bates pushes Kulik away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kulik gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.#SUB2# Kulik is trying to get an arm triangle but Bates is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Bates's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kulik content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. #T1# Kulik tries to get to his feet but Bates is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Kulik in his guard. Bates wants to get back to his feet but Kulik is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bates keeping moving, preventing Kulik from controlling successfully. Bates working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kulik wants to stand and escape but Bates is having none of it. Kulik is wriggling around but Bates manages to pass to half guard.
#T3# Kulik is trying to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kulik can do anything to dispel that myth. Kulik looks like he's trying to stand up.

#SUB# Bates drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kulik looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kulik looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kulik! #REVB# Kulik working away.#T4# Kulik wants to stand but Bates is controlling his arm. Kulik happy to just control the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Let's hope that Kulik has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! Dmitry Kulik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kulik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
