#R1##CL2# Mulder takes the fight into the clinch. Mulder working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Tony tries to pull guard but Mulder won't allow it.
Tony takes an elbow to the temple. #CUT2# It looks like Wilson Tony has been cut. Tony doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mulder lands a damaging elbow. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mulder. Mulder lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Tony jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mulder walks away with a smile on his face. Tony gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tony misses with a shot to the body #CL2# and Mulder moves into the clinch. Mulder lands an elbow inside. Mulder landing knees to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mulder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mulder crunches a lovely knee into Tony's ribcage. Mulder lands a damaging elbow. Mulder slows down the pace here.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SU2# Mulder gets to his feet. Tony looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Fox Mulder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Tony gets tackled into the cage by Mulder. Mulder maintains the clinch. #T1# A nice glancing elbow lands by Mulder. Tony tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mulder smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wilson Tony. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Mulder forces Tony back against the cage and clinches. Mulder using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tony. A nice glancing elbow lands by Mulder. Tony jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mulder walks away with a smile on his face. Tony gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL2# Mulder closes the distance and clinches. Mulder lands a nice elbow. Mulder has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Tony seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Mulder can turn it around. Mulder unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mulder creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tony's defenses. Tony swings wildly with an uppercut but Mulder uses good head movement to avoid it. Tony takes an elbow to the temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mulder lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Mulder stalls. Mulder lands an elbow that stopped Tony in his tracks for a moment. #T2# Mulder has Tony pressed against the cage.

Mulder comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Tony letting Mulder take a breather here. Mulder lands an elbow that stopped Tony in his tracks for a moment. Tony tries to pull guard but Mulder holds him up against the cage and eventually Tony drops back down to his feet.

Tony is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mulder to keep the fight standing. Mulder lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tony backwards. Mulder gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Tony takes an elbow to the temple. Mulder lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. #ROC2# Tony is rocked! Mulder creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tony's defenses. Oh Tony is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mulder lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Mulder working Tony over with knees to the body. Nice elbow from Mulder. Clinched against the cage, Mulder lands a big elbow that drops Tony! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Tony is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fox Mulder! After winning the bout, Fox Mulder thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Sambo misses with an uppercut. Sambo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tony. A slow jab from Tony misses its intended target. Sambo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tony.
Tony misses the jab. Tony works the jab nicely. Tony misses with an uppercut
#TD2# and Sambo counters with a takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Sambo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sambo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sambo moves into full mount! #SUB2# Sambo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tony can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
#SUB2# Sambo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tony is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB2# Sambo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Tony wants to pass the guard but Sambo is keeping the position.#SUB2# Sambo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tony gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Tony thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB# Tony postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sambo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tony, into his guard. #REVB##T2##SUB# Tony looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

#SUB# Tony escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sambo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sambo is looking to advance position but Tony has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVR##T3# Sambo tries to hold on but Tony pushes him away. Sambo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tony looking to control but Sambo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. #SUB# Tony swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
