Nilsen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Python defends well and Nilsen ends up having to push Python into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Python looking to stall.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Nilsen. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've been hearing reports that Nilsen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Mills lands with a slapping head kick. #KD2# Oooooh!!! Mills has knocked Nilsen down with a huge combo! Mills steps away and waves a wobbly Nilsen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#Nilsen is rocked! Nilsen is holding his hands too far apart here. Mills throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Nilsen is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Fitzsimmons leaves Nilsen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nilsen takes one on the button.#CUT2#It looks like Dennis Nilsen has been cut. Nice shot by Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nilsen momentarily.
Nilsen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nilsen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fitzsimmons! Nilsen is out on his feet! Fitzsimmons rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nilsen is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nilsen is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

#TD2# Nilsen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Titties looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nilsen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Nilsen works a leg free and moves into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

#R1# Freeman on the wrong end of a nice hook. The fighters circle momentarily. Nilsen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nilsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Freeman manages to avoid it. It looked like Freeman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nilsen throws a shot to the body.
Nilsen misses with a series of wild punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Freeman misses the target. Freeman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. #CUT# It looks like Dennis Nilsen has been cut. Nice straight punches there by Nilsen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nilsen. Nilsen fails to land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action! Nilsen shoots in but Freeman avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nilsen throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman. Nilsen getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Nilsen tries for a takedown but Freeman circles away easily and Freeman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Freeman throws out a loose jab but Nilsen uses good head movement to avoid it. Nilsen lands with a straight right. Freeman didn't see that one coming. Nilsen misses with a body shot.
Freeman drops his hands momentarily and Nilsen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Nilsen cracks Freeman with a good jab.#ROC2# Freeman is rocked! Freeman switches off momentarily and Nilsen cracks him with a monster right hand! Freeman topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Nilsen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Nilsen!
