Goyle works over Uppertaker's head and body with a nice combination. Goyle scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Uppertaker throws a right and a left that Goyle avoids nicely. Goyle is looking for a counter combo. Uppertaker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Uppertaker throws a right hand that Goyle ducks under and follows up with a left that Goyle also avoids with ease. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Uppertaker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Goyle looks to land a combination but Uppertaker avoids it well. Goyle looks to land a combination. Uppertaker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Goyle fails to land with a series of punches.

Gar Goyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uppertaker displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Goyle connects with the punch. Goyle pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Uppertaker back to the cage. Goyle follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.#ROC# Uppertaker is rocked! Goyle connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Uppertaker! He's out on his feet! Goyle rushes in and drops Uppertaker with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

#R1# Bonn throws a head kick that misses. Uppertaker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bonn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bonn scores with a hook. Bonn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bonn throws a front kick that sends Uppertaker stumbling back into the cage. Bonn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Bonn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Uppertaker is landing a low percentage of strikes.#KD2# Bonn lands a big head kick that sends Uppertaker tumbling to the mat! Bonn takes a step backwards and waves Uppertaker back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Uppertaker is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like The Uppertaker has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bonn moves in close and cracks Uppertaker with a massive right hand! #R1# Bregenzer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Uppertaker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Uppertaker attempts a counter takedown but Bregenzer avoids it well and moves away. Uppertaker throws a shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bregenzer. Bregenzer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uppertaker is fending him off so far but Bregenzer persists. Nope, Uppertaker circles away and we're back to standing. The Uppertaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jessie Bregenzer. Bregenzer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Uppertaker jabs at Bregenzer's body. Bregenzer looks winded! Uppertaker lands with a nice combination. Bregenzer backs away looking to recover.#CUT# It looks like Jessie Bregenzer has been cut. Uppertaker scores with a one two! Bregenzer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uppertaker drops Bregenzer with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bregenzer! Uppertaker dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

#R1# Uppertaker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rossi eats them both and turns towards Uppertaker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT# It looks like Ryo Rossi has been cut.#CL2# Rossi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Uppertaker, pushing him back against the cage. Uppertaker tries to break free but Rossi pushes him back against the cage.#TD# Uppertaker has picked Rossi up - he's going for a ride! Uppertaker dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rossi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rossi.#SUB2# Rossi working for a triangle but Uppertaker defends it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Uppertaker has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rossi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Uppertaker is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rossi pulls down on the head and he's put Uppertaker to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryo Rossi! A pretty intense looking Ryo Rossi took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
