#R1# Kubiak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cudi swats him away and circles back towards the center. As Kubiak backs off Cudi throws a huge counter combo but Kubiak manages to avoid it all. Cudi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kubiak on the side of the head. Kubiak closes the distance looking to clinch and Cudi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kubiak shoots in for a takedown but Cudi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kubiak tries for a takedown but Cudi circles away easily and Cudi counters with a lovely straight right hand!#TD2# Cudi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cudi showed some decent athleticism there. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Blitz told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Blitz lands a knee to the head.
Kubiak is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Blitz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Blitz just leaning against Kubiak, taking a breather. Blitz has Kubiak pushed against the cage.#TD2# Blitz manages to pull guard.

Kubiak with a lazy takedown attempt and Blitz counters with a series of strikes. Kubiak will be more careful next time no doubt. Blitz connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kubiak tumbling to the canvas! Blitz pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kubiak was done - good stoppage!

Rynkowski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kubiak. And Rynkowski tries to counter it with a takedown but Kubiak pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kubiak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rynkowski is fending him off so far but Kubiak persists. Nope, Rynkowski circles away and we're back to standing. Rynkowski with the counter takedown but Kubiak avoids it easily.#TD2# Rynkowski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kubiak manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kubiak prevents Rynkowski from improving his position. Kubiak trying to mount his opponent but Rynkowski defends it. #SUB2# Kubiak thows an elbow strike that misses. Rynkowski gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Kubiak doesn't seem too bothered but Rynkowski quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Kubiak is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Kubiak really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

#R1##CL2# Blitz takes the fight into the clinch. #BC2# Blitz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Blitz lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kubiak takes a step back to recover. Kubiak dives in for a single leg takedown but Blitz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kubiak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blitz defends it nicely. We've been hearing reports that Kubiak has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kubiak closes the distance and clinches up with Blitz, looking for a takedown. Kubiak pushes Blitz against the cage but Blitz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paddy Kubiak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blitz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Kubiak shoots and misses and Blitz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CL2# Blitz has managed to clinch.

Kubiak controls Stewart momentarily but Stewart frees himself. Kubiak wants to sweep here but Stewart controlling him for the moment. #SUB# Kubiak is looking for a triangle but Stewart pushes his legs off easily.
Stewart is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kubiak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
