#R1# Kulik throws a sloppy head kick and Ramirez moves out of range easily. Ramirez digs a good hook to Kulik's body.
Kulik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown but Kulik shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramirez tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD2# and Kulik counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ramirez! Ramirez wants to control but Kulik postures up.#SUB2# Kulik tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ramirez is trying to escape the position but Kulik is controlling the position. #T1##SUB2# Kulik thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ramirez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2# Kulik is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ramirez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kulik tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. #SUB2# Kulik wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ramirez, who protects the arm well. Kulik controlling the position from side mount. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ramirez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ramirez is trying to control Kulik's posture but Kulik avoids it. Ramirez is trying to improve his position. Kulik taking a breather here. Kulik working the ground and pound from side control.#T3# A big shot lands for Kulik! That's hurt Ramirez! Will he recover? Kulik fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
