Can Markos hang on? #CUT# It looks like Matty Markos has been cut.#SUB# Douglas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Markos has managed to free his arm - good work. Douglas prevents Markos from standing back up.
Douglas trying to control the pace. #SUB# Douglas seems to be working for a kimura but Markos defends the submission attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Markos is trying to stand.
Markos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Douglas trying to mount his opponent but Markos defends it. #T1##SUB2# Markos looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Douglas drops an elbow to the side of Markos's head. #SUB# Douglas is working for a kimura but Markos is defending it quite comfortably.
Douglas prevents Markos from improving his position. Markos wants to control but Douglas is keeping busy.
#T2##SU# Douglas decides to return to a standing position. Markos gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Markos tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Douglas is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Markos buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Markos!! Markos is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Douglas throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
