#R1##TD2# Nine drives through with a takedown into Jurgs's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Nine wants to control from the top but Jurgs keeps moving. Jurgs looking for a sweep. Not yet Jurgs, not yet. Jurgs seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Nine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jurgs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. My spies in Cozad MMA New York inform me that Nine has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Jurgs pulls Nine in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jurgs's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jurgs wants to sweep here but Nine controlling him for the moment. Jurgs stands up over Nine, holding on to his feet. Jurgs throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Nine is out cold! Jurgs lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Rufus half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD2# Jurgs throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rufus was covering up waiting for the punch and Jurgs finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jurgs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jurgs won't allow Rufus to sweep him here. Rufus looking to control.

He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Danky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Danky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jurgs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Danky to score with a decent uppercut. Jurgs shoots in for a double leg but Danky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Danky defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jurgs. Danky moves into range and connects with a jab. Danky with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

#R1# Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jurgs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jurgs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.#TD2# Jurgs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lucas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lucas struggling a bit here. Jurgs throws an elbow but Lucas slips to the side and avoids it well. Lucas is trying to control Jurgs's posture but Jurgs avoids it. Lucas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jurgs on the ground. Jurgs lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lucas down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lucas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. This is the final round! #R3# Jurgs walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Lucas throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jurgs now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Jurgs avoids the head kick by Lucas.
