Brooks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Purha circles away quickly and effectively.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Purha has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

I was talking to Brooks's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Brooks tries to throw a body punch but Purha avoids it by throwing Brooks back against the cage.

Moore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Purha moves away.
It appears Purha was looking to counter with a kick there.
Moore stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Purha.
Purha takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Moore throws a shot to the body.
Purha pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Moore takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Purha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Purha moves forwards but Moore connects with a nice, crisp jab.
