It looks like Yosh Hammer has been cut.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown but Colombo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Colombo lands a jab to Hammer's midsection.
Hammer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Colombo.
Hammer fails to land the takedown.
Hammer throws a series of strikes that have Colombo backpedaling.
Colombo slaps away a takedown attempt from Hammer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Colombo wants to counter the offense by Hammer and move into the clinch position.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yosh Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Colombo smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Victorio feints and then cracks Hammer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hammer down.
Hammer wants to clinch but Victorio slips to the side
and Victorio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hammer misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hammer wants to clinch up but Victorio keeps it at a distance.

Victorio closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hammer's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Victorio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Victorio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hammer for as long as he can get away with.#SUB#

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hammer can do anything to dispel that myth.
