and Mode counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mode misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Justin Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mode slips a jab and a cross from Reyes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reyes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. #TD2# Mode closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mode lands in his opponent's guard. Mode slips nicely into half guard. Ojeda tries to get to full guard but Mode has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mode controlling the action here. Mode throwing shots but Ojeda is blocking nicely. #T1# Mode slows the pace down in half guard. Let's hope that Mode has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Mode.
