and Sato takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sato on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bjorkman misses with an uppercut. It looked like Sato wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Sato walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bjorkman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Satos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A telegraphed right hand from Bjorkman misses the target. It looked like Sato wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bjorkman lands a glancing blow to the side of Sato's head. Bjorkman misses with a wild body shot. Bjorkman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

After the fight, Ryosuke Sato was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Gravano has his takedown stuffed and Bjorkman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gravano shoots in for a takedown but Bjorkman shows good takedown defense. Bjorkman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#TD2# Gravano shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gravano connects with a nice short shot to Bjorkman's temple. Gravano sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bjorkman defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gravano is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gravano is pressing down on Bjorkman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bjorkman is holding on for now. OfCocoa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. OfCocoa lands a head shot. OfCocoa misses with a jab to the body

Delamitri has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bjorkman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Erik Bjorkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Delamitri.#BC# Bjorkman manages to break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bjorkman punishes OfCocoa's body with a nice straight punch. Bjorkman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. OfCocoa lands with a hook. Bjorkman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Bjorkman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed OfCocoa momentarily.

OfCocoa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bjorkman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Bjorkman lands a head shot. Bjorkman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Rabban looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bjorkman is fending him off so far but Rabban persists. Nope, Bjorkman circles away and we're back to standing. Bjorkman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rabban. Erik Bjorkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glossu Rabban. Rabban takes a shot right to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bjorkman screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rabban! Nice submission victory there!

Bjorkman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thackeray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Thackeray feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bjorkman's calf. Thackeray has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Thackeray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bjorkman lands with a hook. Thackeray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Thackeray pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. No joy there for Bjorkman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
