We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van looks to throw an elbow but misses. Van tries to land a knee to the head but Kikuchi blocks with his arms.
Van misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kikuchi.

#R1##TD# Kikuchi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Velasquez! Velasquez tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kikuchi cracks Velasquez with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kikuchi lands a big shot there that rocks Velasquez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kikuchi prevents Velasquez from getting the reversal. Kikuchi controlling from mount. Kikuchi throwing strikes here but Velasquez is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Velasquez working to try and regain half guard.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. #R1# Kikuchi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clitorisukah as he jumps to the side. Kikuchi has his takedown stuffed and Clitorisukah counters with a stiff right hand. Kikuchi stuffs the takedown. Clitorisukah bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kikuchi slips under a jab from Clitorisukah. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kikuchi moves out of range of the strikes. Kikuchi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kikuchi checks a leg kick. Clitorisukah lands a jab to the nose. Kikuchi has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#T1# Clitorisukah connects with a jab. Clitorisukah cracks Kikuchi on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kikuchi falls backwards against the ropes. Clitorisukah follows up with more strikes that drop Kikuchi to his knees. Clitorisukah keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kikuchi! This one is all over!

Cohle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cohle is trying to control the position but Kikuchi postures up. Kikuchi won't allow Cohle to sweep him here. Cohle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kikuchi preventing the sweep.
