Cudi shoots for a takedown but Haffie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cudi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Haffie - the referee stops the clock and Cudi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Haffie. Cudi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.#CL#

Nordlund chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cudi can pounce on him.

Nordlund throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Cudi's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Nordlund dives in looking to finish as Cudi flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Nordlund's strikes! Nordlund is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Cudi's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Cudi was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
