#R1# Funnie misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Equation! But no joy. Equation looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Funnie swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Equation has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Funnie staying out of range there. Funnie just misses with a punch to the body.
Equation moves away from the strike by Funnie. Equation throws a one two combo.
Nice takedown defense from Funnie. No joy for Equation on that attempt. Funnie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Madz **21 Elite coaches** in the buildup to the fight. Funnie lands with a hook. Equation tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Funnie wants to slow Equation down by chopping away at his legs. Funnie jabbing away but nothing is landing. Funnie jabs Equation to the body, keeping him at a distance. Equation changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Funnie tries to avoid it but Equation manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Funnie to the ground. Funnie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T1# Equation gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Funnie tries to clinch but Equation moves out of range. Equation now looks to counter with a shot at the body.#CL# Equation gets tackled into the ropes by Funnie. Funnie maintains the clinch. Funnie misses with a short punch on the inside. Funnie can't find room to land a body shot as Equation controls the action.

Funnie lands a right hand that snaps the head of Equation backwards. Equation tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Funnie smiles and moves away.
Doug Funnie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Human Equation. Funnie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Equation ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Doug Funnie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Funnie throws a low kick but Equation avoids it.#CL# Funnie clinches with his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB2# Equation has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Funnie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Funnie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. #SUB2# Equation looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Funnie has picked Equation up and slammed him! Equation can't keep hold of the triangle and Funnie manages to pass to side control!#T3# Funnie wants to stand but Equation has his arm trapped. Equation tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Funnie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Equation sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Equation tries to get to full guard but Funnie has control of the leg. #SUB2# Equation looking for submissions off his back. Equation makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Equation.#T4##SUB2# Equation is looking for a triangle here but Funnie uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Equation tries to bench press Funnie off him but Funnie keeps the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Funnie working away. Equation is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Equation wants to improve his position but Funnie is controlling well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Funnie sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Funnie dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Equation swings for the body but Funnie moves out of range.
Funnie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Equation can do to turn this around? Equation throws a jab when Funnie was well out of range. Funnie looks to land a right hand but Equation moved out of range. Equation shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Equation ducks under a wild hook from Funnie. Equation is trying to maintain a safe position but Funnie gets an underhook and turns Equation into the ropes. Funnie tries to work over Equation's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Funnie works on Equation's body with a couple of short punches. A right hook to the body lands for Funnie.
Funnie pushes Equation back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Funnie lands a nice shot to the body. Equation is breathing heavily. A nice right hand lands inside from Funnie. Funnie lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short right from Funnie on the inside. Funnie lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Equation backwards. #ROC# Equation is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Equation is trying to pull guard but Funnie turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. Equation is still on wobbly legs! Can Funnie finish him? Equation tries to work over Funnie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Equation seems to have recovered his senses. Funnie scores with a shot to the side of Equation's head. Funnie digs a right hand into Equation's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Equation's gas tank. Funnie lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Equation. A quick uppercut on the inside from Funnie. Funnie creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Equation with a big uppercut! Equation tries to clinch up but Funnie pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Equation to the mat! Equation covers up and Funnie unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Redding throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD# and Equation counters with a takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Equation are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Redding struggling a bit here. Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Redding wants to control but Equation postures up. Redding is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Equation is staying active. Equation tries to advance to mount but can't. #SUB# Equation wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Redding, who protects the arm well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redding is looking for a sweep. Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.#T1# Redding tries to buck Equation off but Equation is having none of it. Equation tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Redding is not content to let Equation control the position. Equation is trying to ground and pound but Redding uses the momentary lack of control by Equation to regain half guard. Equation thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Redding's head. #SUB2# Redding looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB# Equation is looking for a kimura but Redding is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Equation to get the leverage. Redding trying to control but Equation postures up.
Redding might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Equation haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.#T2# Equation prevents Redding from improving his position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Redding is refusing to be controlled, as Equation sits in half guard. Equation engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Equation in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Redding utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Equation controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #SUB2# Redding escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Equation gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #T4# Equation passes Redding's left leg - he's now in half guard. Equation wants to take a breather but Redding is having none of it. Redding is looking to improve his position.
#SUB# Equation seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Redding is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
