OfCocoa throws a body shot but no joy. Rabban tries to counter with a clinch but OfCocoa shakes him off and moves away. Nice takedown defense from OfCocoa. No joy for Rabban on that attempt. OfCocoa throws a shot to the body.
OfCocoa throws a lazy right hand but Rabban sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. OfCocoa throws a body punch but Rabban moves out of range. OfCocoa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club in the buildup to the fight. Nice takedown defense from OfCocoa. No joy for Rabban on that attempt. Rabban's coach down at Crucible was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rabban's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. That will dishearten Rabban somewhat. OfCocoa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

#R1# Gravano lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#CUT# It looks like Glossu Rabban has been cut. Gravano scores with the left hand. Rabban knows he should have avoided that one. Rabban ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gravano works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rabban doesn't manage to clinch there - Gravano circles away.

#TD2# Rabban scores with a takedown into Gravano's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rabban trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gravano is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Liverpools Red Tri-Angle MMA & Fitness that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Rabban postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rabban missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rabban closes the distance and clinches up with Gardenia, looking for a takedown. Rabban pushes Gardenia against the cage but Gardenia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gardenia throws a shot to the body.
Rabban misses with a right hand and Gardenia counters with a nice uppercut. Gardenia scores with a hook to the body. Rabban takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rabban shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gardenia as he avoids it easily. Rabban shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gardenia as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glossu Rabban. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rabban fails in his attempt to clinch. Gardenia is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rabban rather than just go for the knockout. Gardenia lands with a shot to the body. Rabban will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#CL# Olson closes the distance and clinches.#TD2# Rabban manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rabban wants to stand up but Olson is controlling him. #SUB2# Rabban working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Olson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Olson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB2# Rabban has his foot on Olson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Olson works his way back into a safe position though. Olson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Rabban has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Olson doesn't defend quickly enough and Rabban has managed to lock this one up! Can Olson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rabban on a fantastic submission victory.

Rabban scores with punches from side control. Selassie is looking for a sweep. Rabban tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. We've been hearing that Rabban has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Rabban looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bjorkman is fending him off so far but Rabban persists. Nope, Bjorkman circles away and we're back to standing. Bjorkman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rabban. Erik Bjorkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glossu Rabban. Rabban takes a shot right to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
