and Duran cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gold plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Duran avoids the head kick by Gold.
Gold digs a good body shot into Duran 's ribs. Duran takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gold throws a head kick that misses. Duran moves forwards but Gold connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gold ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duran moves away. Nice shot by Duran . The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gold dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A swing and a miss from Gold. Duran throws a body shot but no joy. Gold waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Duran . Duran fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#T1# Duran is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Duran throws a head kick but Gold moves out of range.
Duran looks to land a right hand but Gold moved out of range. Gold throws a solid leg kick but Duran takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gold. Jab from Gold. Gold swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duran thows a left - swing and a miss! Gold connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Duran 's hands. Duran definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gold misses with the combination.
Duran throws a sloppy head kick and Gold moves out of range easily. As Duran backs off Gold throws a huge counter combo but Duran manages to avoid it all. Jab, jab by Duran - just one landing. Gold pushes Duran away with a front kick. Gold misses with a shot to the body and Duran counters with a two punch combo. #T2# This has been an exciting period of action! Duran ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Duran avoids the head kick by Gold.
Duran takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Gold throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Duran is looking for a counter combo. Duran ducks under a wild hook from Gold. Gold blocks a jab. Gold swings away with a body shot that misses
and Duran connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gold throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duran sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jack Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duran throws a shot from downtown. Gold moves away and avoids it. Gold will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looked like Duran wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Gold scores with a hook to the body. Duran takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Gold thows a left - swing and a miss! Gold throws an overhand right that lands on Duran 's shoulder, as Duran tries to avoid the shot. #T3# Duran avoids the body shot from Gold.
Duran was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A combination from Gold does no damage. Gold catches Duran with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#ROC2# Duran is rocked! Gold circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Duran to the canvas! Duran doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gold keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

#R1# Krause changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duran tries to avoid it but Krause manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duran to the ground. Duran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Krause gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Krause is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duran . Krause has a takedown stuffed. Krause fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Krause. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duran stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duran wants it to stay on the feet. A nice side step and Duran releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.#TD# Krause decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krause is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Krause prevents Duran from improving his position. Duran trying to control but Krause postures up.
#T1# Duran is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Krause passes to full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duran is in all sorts of trouble here.

Duran doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duran manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Krause has a closed guard, preventing Duran from standing up. James Krause dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! #R2# Krause tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Duran defends well and Krause ends up having to push Duran into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Krause doesn't succeed with the takedown and Duran counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#TD# Krause closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Duran quickly recovers to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duran can do anything to dispel that myth. Duran is doing well to control the position and prevent Krause from advancing to side control. Duran is in trouble now - Krause has advanced to mount! #SUB# Krause is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Duran is surviving well by controlling Krause's body position as best he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran is controlling an arm, preventing Krause from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Duran felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duran is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Duran has Mera pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mera trying to control but Duran is working from the bottom. Duran not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

And that's the end of the fight! Tito Duran showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Duran , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Duran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've been told by Duran 's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Duran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A solid body kick from Duran . Deangelo Flagg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Flagg throws a sloppy head kick and Duran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Flagg does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A head kick misses from Duran . Flagg throws a hook to the side of Duran 's head but Duran sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.#CL# Duran forces Flagg back against the cage and clinches.#BC# Duran 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Duran is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
