Holm lands an uppercut, right on the button! The Beast tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Rosso shoots in for a double leg but Holm sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rosso or perhaps it was just good defense by Holm, which made it look bad.
Rosso takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rosso fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Holm went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Demian Holm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blanco Rosso.

Rosso changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holm looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rosso remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Holm is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Midnight MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rosso is holding his hands too far apart here. Holm throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Rosso is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Holm on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Holm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice sprawl there from Butt as Holm shoots in.
Sloppy strikes from Butt. Those never looked like landing.
Butt throws a series of punches but Holm avoids them all with ease.
Holm tries to land a leg kick but Butt saw it coming and moves away.
A head kick misses from Holm.
The fighters circling - Holm throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Butt throws a right hand that Holm ducks under and follows up with a left that Holm also avoids with ease.

Butt looks to land a combination but Holm avoids it well.
Holm misses with a two punch combination.
Butt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
