Markos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sylvanas down to the mat. Sylvanas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL2# Markos instigates a clinch. Markos is looking to break free of the clinch but Sylvanas has double underhooks. #TD2# Markos manages to pull guard.
Sylvanas wants to stand but Markos has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #SU# Sylvanas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sylvanas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sylvanas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Markos moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sylvanas connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sylvanas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Markos.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Markos fails to land the takedown. No luck for Markos with that takedown attempt. Stephan Sylvanas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matty Markos. Markos takes one to the side of the head.

Markos falls back against the cage and Sylvanas unloads with a barrage of strikes! Markos is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sylvanas screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1##KD# Douglas lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Markos sprawling to the canvas. Douglas follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Markos hang on? #CUT# It looks like Matty Markos has been cut.#SUB# Douglas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Markos has managed to free his arm - good work. Douglas prevents Markos from standing back up.
Douglas trying to control the pace. #SUB# Douglas seems to be working for a kimura but Markos defends the submission attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Markos is trying to stand.
Markos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Douglas trying to mount his opponent but Markos defends it. #T1##SUB2# Markos looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Markos tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Douglas is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Markos buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Markos!! Markos is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Douglas throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

#R1# Crowe is looking to slow Markos down with leg kicks. A shot to the liver by Crowe. Beautiful body shot.#TD2# Markos gets the takedown into side control. Crowe manages to get back to half guard. Crowe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Crowe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.#SUB# Crowe has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Markos. Oh but Crowe has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Markos goes limp - he's gone! Crowe jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Meech tests Markos's chin there with a solid looking shot. Meech avoids the body shot from Markos.
Markos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Meech tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL# Markos closes the distance and clinches. Meech is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#BC# Markos breaks from the clinch.

Patches Meech seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meech throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Meech fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Meech tries to avoid it but Markos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meech to the ground. Meech escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Meech lands a jab-cross combination. Meech takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Meech throws an off balance right hand
#TD# and Markos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Meech's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Markos throwing strikes from guard but Meech blocks nicely. Markos trying to control but Meech is working from the bottom. Markos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T2# Meech preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Markos wants to pass the guard but Meech is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Markos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Meech, who protects the arm well. Markos tries to stand but Meech is controlling his head. Markos tries to score with some ground and pound. Meech controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Meech is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Markos asserts his dominance and retains side control.#SUB# Markos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Markos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matty Markos will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Markos slips a jab and a cross from Meech.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Meech misses with a wild body shot. Markos thinks about countering with a body kick. Matty Markos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Markos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. No joy there for Meech, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Meech lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Markos circles away quickly and effectively. And Markos counters with a quick kick to the body but Meech blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Patches Meech comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Meech has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Patches Meech! A very excited looking Patches Meech rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. In defeat, Matty Markos stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will be back this is only the begining'.
