We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mc Gregor goes for a small jab and connects. Now Mc Gregor goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Randall stumbles back but Mc Gregor runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Randall to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Randall will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Conor Mc Gregor!

Chheda tries to bum rush Randall with a series of wild strikes but Randall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Randall was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chheda throws a lazy uppercut #TD#
and Randall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Chheda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Randall controls the pace.
Chheda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Randall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chheda creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Randall's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Randall drops to his knees and Chheda pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
