Rockwell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lupertazzi defends well and Rockwell ends up having to push Lupertazzi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lupertazzi. #CL# Lupertazzi rushes Hagane and presses him up against the cage. Hagane tries to land knees in the clinch but Lupertazzi avoids the damage to the body. #TD# Lupertazzi jumps guard and drags Hagane to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lupertazzi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
#SUB# Lupertazzi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hagane is aware though and is defending well.#T4# Hagane forces his way into half guard. Lupertazzi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lupertazzi. Lupertazzi has control of Hagane's left arm, preventing Hagane from doing any damage. #SUB# Lupertazzi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hagane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lupertazzi is on top in guard.
