That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Webb connects with a solid leg kick. Dennis Webb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Webb connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jack. Jack circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Webb swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gates advances to half guard. Jack moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gates passes Jack's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jack manages to get to full guard.
Gates wants to pass the guard but Jack is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. And that's the end of the fight! Canaan Gates showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gates, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
