#R1##TD2# Grenier closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Grenier lands in his opponent's guard. Grenier throws a big elbow that misses. Grenier looking to sit in guard and control but Davenport gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Grenier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#ES2# Grenier has his feet on Davenport's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Davenport will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Grenier throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.#TD2# Davenport gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grenier won't allow Davenport to get back to his feet. Grenier postures up in Davenport's guard and throws a big left but Davenport blocks it. Davenport avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Davenport really is a fat lump. Grenier is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #T1# Grenier with a nice head shot there. Grenier wants to control from the top but Davenport keeps moving. Grenier content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Grenier scoring with some ground and pound. Grenier loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Grenier throwing strikes but missing. Grenier loads up on a big left hand. Davenport felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Grenier looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Davenport can't hide his disappointment, as Grenier celebrates the victory.

#R1##TD2# Learner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Learner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Learner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Learner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Learner pushes down on Davenport's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Learner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davenport does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Learner seems to be looking for submissions.

Learner tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norman Davenport. Learner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Learner lands strikes from half guard.#SUB2# Learner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davenport doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Learner. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Learner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davenport with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tester Learner dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##TD2# Learner shoots in and bounces Davenport off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Learner is working Davenport over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Davenport is trying to keep Learner in close.

Learner has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Davenport! Learner looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Davenport covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

#R1##TD# Davenport fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jobber to the ground. Davenport is now in Jobber's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jobber can do anything to dispel that myth. Jobber throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jobber wants to sweep but no luck. Jobber punching from the bottom. Davenport throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jobber works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jobber lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Jobber is looking to work some ground and pound but Davenport has wrist control. Davenport could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jobber throwing strikes from guard but Davenport blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jobber works over Davenport with some ground and pound from guard. Jobber stands up over Davenport, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jobber chips away with some ground and pound.#T1# Jobber stands up over Davenport, holding on to his feet. Jobber throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Davenport is out cold! Jobber lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
