Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. Leotardo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Leotardo misses with some punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leotardo working aggressively here.

Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Leotardo moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Leotardo misses with a few strikes there.

He thinks about going to the ground but Leotardo looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jones closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Leotardo! Jones dives in looking to finish! Leotardo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Yoshida punishes Leotardo's body with a nice straight punch. Leotardo takes a swing at Yoshida's ribcage but misses. Leotardo lands a jab to Yoshida's midsection. Jab from Leotardo. Yoshida throws a half hearted mid kick. The fighters circle momentarily. Leotardo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.#CUT# It looks like Hotaka Yoshida has been cut.#TD2# Yoshida closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd cheers as Leotardo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dahlen doesn't seem phased though. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dahlen is defended easily by Leotardo. Dahlen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Leotardo. It's a sloppy attempt though and Champ jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Leotardo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Champ on the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Champ accidentally thumps the mat. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leotardo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Leotardo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Champ backs up against the cage.

Leotardo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Champ's head backwards. Good leg kick by Leotardo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
