#R1##TD2# Winston fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robert to the ground. Winston is now in Robert's guard. Robert utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Winston with a flurry of punches that miss. Winston postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've been hearing good reports from Robert's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. MacAskill swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. MacAskill jabs Robert to the body, keeping him at a distance. MacAskill lands with a nice body punch. MacAskill takes a swing at Robert's ribcage but misses. MacAskill looks to land a body kick but Robert moved away. MacAskill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robert.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacAskill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. MacAskill is looking to wear down Robert with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. MacAskill connects with a crisp jab. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robert has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A lazy left from MacAskill finds it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robert moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. MacAskill misses with a body shot.
#T2# A cross from MacAskill lands. MacAskill throws a nice outside leg kick. Robert takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. MacAskill lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for MacAskill. MacAskill digs a good body shot into Robert's ribs. MacAskill bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Robert's head backwards.#ROC# Robert is rocked! MacAskill drops Robert with a naaaaasty hook - Robert is in real trouble here! MacAskill dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
