Wiremu works on Funske's body with a couple of short punches. Wiremu throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Funskes head. Funske looks winded! A shot in the inside from Wiremu. Funske scores with a hook to the body. Kriel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kriel shoots for a double leg takedown but Funske sprawls well. He's pushed Kriel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kriel dives in and grabs Funske's left leg, looking for a takedown. Funske pushes down on Kriel's head and hops out. Kriel's coach down at Barbell Brigade was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kriel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kriel avoids the body shot from Funske.

#R1# Grigorian tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Grigorian misses with a low kick as Funske jumps back. Grigorian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. As Grigorian backs off Funske throws a huge counter combo but Grigorian manages to avoid it all. Grigorian throws a low kick but it's checked well by Funske.
