Hate lands an uppercut out of nowhere! LeFlare falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hate dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Hate!
After the fight, Harry Hate was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Patrick moves in looking to clinch but LeFlare pushes him off.
LeFlare fails to land with a series of punches.
LeFlare looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Good leg kick by LeFlare there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Patrick uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before LeFlare has time to react.
LeFlare tries to bum rush Patrick with a series of wild strikes but Patrick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Patrick moves in looking to clinch but LeFlare pushes him off.
LeFlare keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Patrick fails to pull guard.
Patrick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as LeFlare walks away with a smile on his face. Patrick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Patrick closes the distance and pushes LeFlare back into the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as LeFlare takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
I was talking to Patrick's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Patrick is trying to pull guard but LeFlare has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saint Patrick. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC2#

Patrick has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. LeFlare doesn't defend quickly enough and Patrick has managed to lock this one up! Can LeFlare escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Patrick on a fantastic submission victory.
