#R1# Olson lands with a right hand. Will Olson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olson cracks Amer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Amer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Olson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Amer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Olson lands a jab to Amer's midsection. Olson throws a series of punches but Amer avoids them all with ease. Amer scores with a body shot.

Olson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Suh counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Suh jabs Olson right on the nose. Olson blinks but takes it well. Suh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Suh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Olson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Suh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Olson can do to turn this around? Suh pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Good leg kick by Suh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Suh was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Suh takes a jab right on the kisser.

A lazy left from Suh finds it's target. Olson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Olson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Suh to score with a decent uppercut. Olson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Suh can pounce on him.
Suh works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jab by Suh. Suh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Olson misses with a few strikes there.
Suh dips to his left and cracks Olson with an uppercut! Suh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#T4# A left and a right from Suh both land. Nice combination. Suh just misses with a punch to the body.
Olson slips under a jab from Suh. Suh tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Olson is able to avoid easily. Suh misses the jab. Olson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Suh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Olson throws a lazy right hand but Suh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Olson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Suh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Olson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Olson throws a combination that misses enabling Suh to counter with a crisp jab. Suh scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Olson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Suh finds it's way round the side to connect with Olson's head. Will Olson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Olson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Suh avoids a punch combination nicely.
