Wilkins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
King struggling a bit here.#SUB2#
Wilkins tries for a kimura but King is defending well.
King dodges the ground and pound from Wilkins.
An elbow from Wilkins crashes against the mat.
Sloppy strikes there by Wilkins.
King is looking for a sweep.#SUB2#
Wilkins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King is trying to control Wilkins's posture but Wilkins avoids it.
King is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wilkins has just dragged him back down to the mat.#T1#
Wilkins creates some space and throws a big elbow, but King sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

King could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
King is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wilkins cracks King with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena. #SUB2#
Wilkins looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it.
King takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.#SUB2#
Wilkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter. #SUB2#
King tries to buck Wilkins off so he can stand up but Wilkins has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! King falls backwards, slamming Wilkins to the mat but Wilkins holds on tight! King is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Scott Wilkins!
A very excited looking Scott Wilkins made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Koba throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely.
King throws a quick counter kick to the body but Koba avoids it.#CL2#
The fight moves into the clinch position.#TD#
King manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Koba controls from within his opponent's guard.
King wants to stand but Koba is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Koba controls the pace.
King really is a fat lump.
Koba trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Koba is one step ahead there.
Koba controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
It looks like Koba might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#REF3#
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Koba throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and King counters with a two punch combo. #TD#
Koba tries to sprawl but King drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Koba is concentrating on defense, preventing King from advancing position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Koba's temple. #SUB#
