A slapping body kick lands there for Filakis.
Sonnen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sonnen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Filakis slips under a jab from Sonnen.
Sonnen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Filakis sizes up Sonnen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #CUT#
It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.
Filakis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sonnen misses with a hook. Filakis ducked under it nicely.
Both fighters circling a little - Filakis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Filakis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #KD#
Filakis lands a left and a right that send Sonnen crashing to the mat, dazed. Filakis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sonnen misses with a straight left.
Filakis appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sonnen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sonnen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Filakis. That one must have hurt.
Sonnen looks winded!
A jab from Sonnen misses.
Filakis rushes Sonnen and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Sonnen is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Filakis piles on the pressure and Sonnen crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
