Shemus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rodgers is proving hard to escape from. Shemus is working Rodgers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rodgers being controlled here, momentarily. Shemus wants to control from the top but Rodgers keeps moving. Shemus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodgers wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Shemus content to stall in guard here.
