and Morgan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cook takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morgan swings for the body but Cook moves out of range.

and Morgan counters with a series of strikes. Cook will be more careful next time no doubt. Morgan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cook has his takedown stuffed and Justice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cook misses with a lunging right hand
and Justice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A kick lands to the mid section there for Justice. Justice tests Cook's chin there with a solid looking shot. Cook takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. We've been told by Justice's head coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Justice - the referee stops the clock and Cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Justice. Cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Cook looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Justice ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Justice misses with the combination.

Wilkins stalks Cook and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cook's face. Cook staggers backwards, shaken. Wilkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cook stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gracie. An inside leg kick lands from Gracie. Cook takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cook sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Cook tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. We've been told by Gracie's head coaches at Convicted - Redemption that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Cook takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cook is defended easily by Turtle. Turtle moves into range and connects with a jab. Cook takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cook has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Turtle. Cook will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Turtle was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Cook takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cook walks into a straight right hand from Turtle. Turtle cracks Cook with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nice straight punches there by Turtle. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Turtle. Turtle sizes up Cook with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice inside leg kick there by Turtle. That's going to slow Cook down. Donk. Turtle catches Cook right on the button with a cross. Cook on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cook goes for a double leg but Turtle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Turtle continues to drive forward.
